Bhutanghat is an important center for those who are not interested in trekking, but very much interested in the wildlife. The beauty of the place and the river banks of the Raidak will surely spellbind any tourists, who are a nature lover and a wildlife fan. The village is a great hilly resort, near to the great borders of Bengal, Assam, and Bhutan. Due to the proximity of the place from the border of Bhutan, the place derives its name.
The weather condition of the place is also excellent and more than that, you will love to see the one-horned rhinos, elephants, and even some of the leopards from the forest bungalow. Security elements are there since it is not within the forest area but in the extended part of it. So, there is nothing to fear though. This part of the forest is also having Royals – the royal Bengal tigers. So, try not to make many sounds – in fact, nature at the place will also suggest to you that very thing. Silence and peacefulness are the two things that prevail in this valley region foremost over other things.
