South Sikkim


Jorethang is a town in South Sikkim, which falls on the way to Pelling for many routes & is situated along the Rangeet River, a branch of the Teesta river.


Namchi is one of the main cities, and district headquarters of South Sikkim. It preserves its local color and is less tourist area and crowded than Gangtok.


Located between Pelling and Gangtok, Ravangla also named Rabongla by locals is one of the popular stops in South Sikkim located at an altitude of 7000 feet.

Rayong Sunrise View Point

Ravangla is visited for the Buddha Park & Temi Tea Gardens, but the Rayong Sunrise View Point is considered the most famous among travelers & locals.


A visit to Samdruptse Hill is assured if you’re touring Namchi. It is on top of the hill that the world’s tallest statue of Guru Padmasambhava is perched.
